Tugboat Island

Well like I promised, I am trying to get Payton out of the house more and playing. He loves loves to be outside and last weekend was simply gorgeous! So last sunday we loaded Payton up and drove over to Port Arthur and let him play at tug boat island. Funny thing I remember coming here as a kid and thinking it was just so big and scary. Haha. I love sharing the same memories with our child(:

He just loved watching all the kids run around and play. He found 

one boy who was about his age and he followed him

everywhere. There were soo many people there and I think Payton loved that..

 Next to the park there is a splash park. With it being 80 degrees outside

I figured it wouldn't do any harm to let Payton get a kick out of it..Lol

He loved watching the birds! He just kept pointing saying BIRD BIRD! 

So cute!!

Well this is all I have got, but I plan to slowly work down my list! April I'm hoping to make it to the zoo, and in May we will be making a trip to Arkansas and going camping so at least we have something planned!! It's so hard for Chad right now.. He is getting deep into the pharmacy application process and having school/PCAT on top of that isn't fun. It's scary to think where we will be this time next year.. (most likely packing boxes to move across the country!)

It's been a while..

I hate to say the same old thing every post lately but "nothing new is happening here".. bummer I know. Chad is on spring break but it doesn't matter with us both working anyway. I'm actually hitting 35 hrs or so a week, and I can honestly say I'm not complaining. I miss Payton man so much during the day but I love my job!

Speaking of Payton, he is getting so big. He will be 17 mo next week. He is actually saying a few words now such as; ball, duck, donald (donald duck) dog, moon, and grandpa. There might be a few I'm missing. He seems to know almost every word in the dictionary just chooses not to say them. lol.  He has gotten 5 new teeth in! I know thats a lot but he really is a great teether! He only has 3 K9's left to come in and he is done! I don't remember if I stated in the last post but he has started daycare again. He is slowly getting used to it but still screams when I drop him off:( I give him two more weeks and he will be loving the swing of things!

Other than that there is really nothing going on. We are officially a boring old family now. haha. Work Monday-Friday and catch up on sleep on the weekends. I am SUPER excited it's warming up though. I have a really long list of summer activities for Payton now that he is older and walking..

        - Shlitterbahn

        - Moody Gardens

        - Houston Zoo

        - Beach

        - Get a sandbox

        - Get a pool

        - Get to the park more

Anddd.. To finish it off we celebrated my 21st birthday last week..

It was oh so exciting. Not really lol. Momma Sims made me Sloppy Joes and everyone 

met at my parents for the food. It was nice and simple. Wish Chad and I could have went to dinner or

something he's just ridiculously busy lately. 

Well my next post will be when I can steal Chad's desktop from him. We found about 2,000 pictures off his old hard drive from when we were dating/engaged and they are so cute! I can't wait to make an entire post with them! YAH!(:
