I get to brag about several things in this post! YEAH! To start off on the 8th I went and finally took my Pharmacy Technician exam and I PASSED! I am beyond excited. I have been studying for this exam for months! And even after studying for months it was really hard!
Since my exam was on the 8th and chad having his PCAT the next day we rented a hotel and stayed the night. After getting done with my exam we decided to go get a bite to eat (for Chad's birthday) and we ran across a Dave and Busters. Chad and I have never been here but have heard it's pretty fun so we stopped to see, and we had a blast! Chad and I never really get to have date nights with him studying so much so this was a very special occasion. (I think our last night out/alone Payton was about 3 months old!!) Anyway, we had so much fun and the food was decent. (better than the lunch we had:/) We played a ton of games and since we had quite a few points left at the end we got our picture drawn!
(We took a good picture too but Chad loved our silly picture more)
Chad kicked my butt at Guitar Hero but that's ok I had fun
just watching him!
So fast forward to us getting home Wednesday night..
After getting home and going to get Payton (who didn't even seem to know we were gone lol), Thursday we filled out applications for a Pharmacy job for me. I finished the last semester of school I could last semester (My nursing classes would expire before we get back from pharmacy school), and we really could use the extra money. Thursday morning I submitted an application to Kroger pharmacy and within an hour I had an interview! Now we are just waiting for my certificate to come in so I can go get my finger prints done. I should be starting next week!! I am so excited I loved my job at the pharmacy so much and can't wait to get back in there, but this time as a technician instead of a clerk. Who knows I might make a career out of this..
On a different note Payton Man is getting so big. We go for his 15 mo check up next week and I'm sure he's gained 15 lbs! (ok I might be exaggerating a little) He finally started walking and now is practically running but still doesn't say a single word.. Yah its so fun to decide what he wants all the time lol. He has been loving all this time with Daddy these past few weeks and he even sat and watched Mickey Mouse with him for a while. (Payton doesn't snuggle much..)
He has now started to LOVE his bath. I bought him some bath toys for Christmas and that made a huge difference. He starts running as soon as he hears the water running!
Well, that's how our first two weeks of the new year have started! Not to shabby if I may say so myself(:
