Zoo and such!

Well August 24 has finally made it here and things have been crazy these past few weeks!!! I finished my last day at Market Basket on Saturday (because school starts back in the morning). So while I was at work Chad had a Daddy/Payton day and they seemed to have a blast! He took Payton to Great Grandma and Great-Grandpa Sims house to play then they went to the park.

 Grandma found these "clappers" she had gotten from the bank and Payton just loves them.

He is just getting so big(: He is now an official boy and loves to play with trucks!

So after doing some research online I found that you can get into the Houston Zoo for free if you are receiving Foodstamps!! We were so excited, it's about 14 dollars a person to get in so we took advantage of this deal right away! We decided to take Payton this morning because classes start in the morning and we know time will be pressed from here to December. This was our first "family vacation" for just the three of us and it was so much fun. Payton was actually interested in all the animals and mostly just wanted to get down and play with them. I couldn't believe he never fell asleep or anything, he is just getting so big:(

Chad took AT LEAST 20 pictures of each animal lol so I won't bore you with those just a few good ones!

His zippy became his best friend today, it was zoo hot (and yes I'm in capris IDK what I was thinking lol) It was easily 100 degrees..

These chimps were so smart. They would come up to the window and people would pull out their camera and the chimps would smile for the camera. I stood Payton next to the window and when they would come by he would bang on it to get their attention and they would bang back. He got a kick outta that.

Second favorite: Elephants. He loves watching the Mommy and Baby one.

We had so much fun, and we didn't even cover the whole zoo. After 3 1/2 hours of sweat we were ready to go. On another note, Tomorrow starts the great fall semester 2012.. Its going to be a long hard semester. We are also keeping an eye on Hurricane Isaac out there. Its not looking so great, it keeps turning towards us and evacuating is NOT how I want to start the semester..

Daycare

Well Payton is now a little over ten months old. He started daycare this week since Chad and I will be in school all day everyday (pretty much) and we won't have a babysitter everyday. Luckily the daycare is working with us and he will only be going twice a week for half a day! Other big news this month.. Payton FINALLY started crawling!! I cried.. haha. but about two and a half weeks ago he took off. He is a little moister now, getting into everything. Im not going to lie I love it. People always say that you will realize when they get mobile thats not what you really wanted all along. Well I have to say thats not true in my case. I love how active he is we actually play together now. His new favorite game is tag(;

This is my uncle Tommy, for some reason Payton is terrified of him. No one can figure out why. I feel bad for him lol, Payton just clinches on my dad and cries every time my uncle even talks.

First day of daycare!:(

Today we had one of the laziest days yet(: We sat in our jammies all day and played. Payton loves giving kisses. He couldn't give enough to Mr Bear.

But he still saved a few his mommy:)

I have started buying things for Paytons birthday party. It's going great. The problem is I lay there at night thinking of more and more DIY things to make. I think were going to go bankrupt(; lol. I'm just having so much fun. I'm warning you now his birthday post will be by far my longest post yet..

Payton's 9th Month

Not much has been happening around the Sims house. We just had Payton's 9 mo check up he is 24.15 lbs and 31in. Dr said everything is looking great other than maybe having surgery in a few mo to drop his other testical:( I will cry. But that's not until October. We are mostly just trying to get things ready for School to start and Payton's Birthday! We are so excited and probably going way to out there but oh well. You only turn 1 once right?

He sure does love his cheerios! Apparently Daddy gave him the whole bag while I was still sleeping. Don't worry he got way more on the floor than in his mouth! lol

My family had a BBQ a few Saturdays ago. It was soo hot out and Payton wasn't liking the outside much. So I sat him in his walker and poured water in the tray. He splashed and splashed forever.

That smile right there just makes my day! This was one day after we ran to walmart and the greeter gave him a "Wal-Mart tattoo" He loved it!

 Haha and this picture just made me laugh so hard. He is getting such a personality!

 No point in folding laundry anymore. It will never get finished.
