A Healthy Baby Boy

Well I am almost 33 weeks now so only a few more to go! Chad and I went to sneak a peak yesterday and got a 3d/4d sonogram of Baby Payton. It was WELL worth the money.. He looked so adorable and the first thing the nurse said is, "wow your going to have a big baby!" Haha not really what I wanted to hear but at least he's healthy. From what she said he should be weighing in about 3.75-4 lbs, well he is already 5 1/2 lbs!! She also said he has a big head (which he definitely gets from his daddy lol). Funny thing is Chad's dad has swore from day one that my due date is off and that he is going to come sooner than we think..after showing him the sonogram yesterday he only swears by it more!! But I guess we'll see(:

 Sticking out his tongue(:

He seems to suck his thumb A LOT. lol

He was sleepy.. I woke him up when we got there.

aww sweet baby boy(:

As far as anything else, Nothing exciting is really going on at this point. I finally found my baby shower dress this past weekend. Now I just have to pray I don't gain a whole lot more weight, because then I won't fit in it. I still have 2 1/2 weeks til the shower so I guess we will see!
As far as how I've been.. My back is killing me, I feel like I'm going to pop any day now, and It is extremely hot around here which results in me being very uncomfortable all the time lol.. I think its stayed around 110 mostly these past few weeks.. I Hate IT! Luckily we have a small tropical storm sliding in this weekend which will give us some rain and cool weather..

Time seems to be dragging by.

Well I am now 30 weeks 3 days pregnant. I'm starting to get way to anxious considering I still have around 9 weeks left.. We have everything done for the time being, now all I can do is wait until my baby shower to have more things to organize and play around with.. haha. My baby shower is September 17th and I'm soo ready. Once again it feels like forever away.. My dilemma for the time being is finding something to wear to the shower!! Anyways here are a few pictures of the past weeks or so.

This is me about a weeks or so ago. I am definitely starting to pack on the lbs! I have gained a total of 29lbs since my first doc appt. I dread to see how much I gain in this last 2 months!!

Last Saturday Chad and I decided to go fishing I am definitely in need for some sun!! We went out for about 2 hrs came back without a single bite and I didn't seem to get even one shade darker!:(

Hopefully we can keep ourselves busy these next few weeks to make time go by faster! Unfortunately, Chad goes back to school on Monday and I will be done babysitting. I fear this will only make time drag a little longer..

Update on Baby Payton

Well I think the last time I updated on here you guys didn't even know the sex of the baby. But we are soo excited because we are having a little baby BOY! Everyone swore with all of the wives tales we were having a girl, but God proved them wrong! I hate that I have gotten so far behind on this, I really wanted to keep pictures updated with belly photos. But I guess better late than never..

So here is the very first ultrasound we had gotten. I was only 20 weeks along. Everyone swears he has my nose and Chads lips. I have no idea how they can tell.. so you can decide for yourselves.

Here is what I looked like around 22 weeks along. I had grown a lot since Chad had left so I was very excited for him to see me! And of course it was the first thing he noticed. I believe his words were something like, "Oh wow there is a baby in there.." haha typical guy(:

Around 26 almost 27 weeks I had a little trip to the hospital it was nothing serious but we ended up having to stay a while and Chad got some what bored so he decided to try and entertain me.. haha he did a fantastic job.

Here are some letters I painted to hang on the wall in the bedroom.. They're not great but it's extremely hard to find things to match his theme, so I had to get creative.

Here is my most recent belly shot at around 27.5 weeks. I am almost 29 weeks now so I will update again soon!

Hope you feel like your included and up to date on our lives. I will try not to let it get this far behind again.. more for my benefit than yours lol this took a lot of time! (: I go to the doctor again this Thur for a regular exam and to get tested for gestational diabetes. I pray I don't have it, the only thing that raises my chances is that my mom had it with me.. but we can only pray I didn't inherit it. I don't know what I would do with out my daily milky-way Chad bring me home!(:

Our second honeymoon!

So I know it has been quite some time since I've updated.. so here we go.
First off, as most of you know, Chad had left the last week of May to go study abroad in Spain. Well... it turned out to be A LOT harder on the both of us than we had expected. So, the last week he was there he decided to fly me up there for sort/-of-like a second honeymoon. We didn't get much of one right after the wedding due to the fact Chad had to work on Monday, so this actually worked out quiet nicely.

I didn't take as many pictures in Spain as I would have liked to only because I was much more worried about the 100 degree weather with no fans or air conditioning. Chad was honestly debating if I would actually make it or not.. lol luckily the VERY nice man who owned the dorms we were staying in let us borrow a fan because he felt so bad for us! Anyways to make a long story short I MADE IT and here a few photos I did manage to take(;
-This church was gorgeous, especially at night. It was a catholic church built in 1218! The architects must have been amazing back then considering this is still standing.. too bad they didn't leave us a few pointers..

These were just the streets, I know they don't look like anything spectacular but I was amazed by how clean they kept them. A truck drives by about 3 to 4 times a day to clean. I was very impressed!

And here is the famous Plaza Mayor! This place was INCREDIBLE. I learned that a lot of movies were actually filmed here, which is why it looked so familiar. This was kind of like a meeting point for everyone.. Almost where ever you go in Salamanca you have to walk through here to get to where you are going. There are always tons of people just standing around, with kids riding bikes and skateboards, ect.

So here is the first night I was there.. This is a HORRIBLE picture but after being on a plane all day I didn't really care. haha. There was a small concert going on in the street where we were staying so we decided to walk down and take a look. It was actually a lot of fun, we learned some of their dances and it was really neat to see how different things are there.

This is just a few cute pictures Chad and I took after getting some of the.best. ice cream.ever. literally. lol

And here is what scared me the most while I was there...
These people hang there meat on the walls in almost 100 degree weather and just eat it raw.. Luckily I had the excuse to not eat it because I was pregnant (not that I would have dared to touch it either way) I have never heard of such. Buuttttt because I couldn't eat at what the local people did.. my wonderful husband found a Burger King. Which actually made me the happiest person ever. Everyday he would walk me down there for dinner and I would get one good meal a day.. during the day I would eat cereal and other small snacks.

For as little as I seemed to eat and as much as we walked (almost 4 to 5 miles a day) I still seemed to gain 22 lbs during the month of June. How? I have no idea.. lol Anyways this trip was a blast and defiantly one I will Never forget. I love Chad so much and I couldn't have asked for a better honeymoon!(:
